Song for this post: Avenged Sevenfold - A Little Piece of Heaven
Football (Soccer for the yanks) has been one of all sports that I really enjoy. Whether playing football or watching. I guess I was influenced by fellow mates and also THE FIFA WORLD CUP 2006, but it was in Hungary that I actually started to involve in football more. First, I started out as a defender. As time goes by, I finally realise that goalkeeper was probably the best position for me. Without any training, I thought I was quite good at it, but I know I can get sloppy sometimes.
Now, I'm back in Malaysia and still play as a goalkeeper, but it seems my goalkeeping skill is rather fading. Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second, I am getting worse compared to how I did in Hungary. I couldn't even save a simple shot. I don't even dive anymore. Must have been the fat.
But now I'm getting better, I guess. I'm starting to dive, but still a bit sloppy. Oh well....
If I'm not mistaken, I will be playing on Wednesday for my house, Garnet. We're playing against Topaz in the KYUEM Interhouse Football Championhsip. We've won all of our matches so far and we're in the "driving seat" which means we're going through to the final! Well, that's why I'm playing. I guess, they're not confident with me, neither am I. I'm really nervous for Wednesday's match, but I hope it all goes well. And get continue or winning streak!
GO GARNET!
The exams are over, but that does not mean everything is getting better. Not to forget, the exam results. Fortunately, this semester exam results show that I improved, but unfortunately it is still a disappointment. Of course, I will not disclose my results.
I guess there is still time for more improvements. More studying needs to be done. More time needs to be spent on books. No more time wasting.
There's only a few months left to prove that I can do it. I can outdo myself. I can get As.
Well, wish me luck.
Song for this post: Betrayed by Avenged Sevenfold
This post is about something happened recently. In fact, it was this week. Let me start from the beginning.
A few weeks before, I joined a play called "Inspector Drake's Last Case" It's a typical whodunnit comedy. It's quire humorous. Anyways, the supervisor (true identity won't be given) said that rehearsals would be twice a week. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 08.00pm to 09.00pm. I would usually attend the rehearsals.
The rehearsals are actually fun. We enjoy ourselves. We make jokes, whether it is intentional or not. When we make mistakes, it is considered as a joke. So pretty much the rehearsals are great.
Moving on, the rehearsals were still on this week, despite the fact that I had exams. Out of all the people, it was only me who had a paper to sit on Wednesday, which was Computing. I talked to the supervisor a week before, "begging" him/her to cancel for one day, so that I can study for Computing, but s/he refused. S/he said I should come and I would enjoy it, instead of studying. I see his/her point, but then I said, "I'll try."
Then, on the Tuesday, I decided to actually skip the rehearsal and use the time to study for my paper. I made a huge mistake, not informing him/her that I wouldn't come, but it wasn't entirely my fault. I tried searching for him/her on Tuesday, the whole day, but failed. I didn't have his/her number to text him/her. And I didn't have my friends' number who have his/her number. This is because my phone recently go screwed up for no apparent reason. All of the numbers are saved on the phone and now, I'm currently borrowing one of my friend's phone. So not many numbers are in the phone.
Moving on with the story, as I was leaving the AV room, after getting some past papers, I bumped into one of my friend. He also joined the play. He informed me that the supervisor was quite pissed. I don't really have the exact quotations but s/he said something similar to this:
"I'm p'd off with that guy. That wanker."
He called me a WANKER. S/he thought if s/he said it under his/her breath, other people won't hear, but s/he was wrong. My friend did hear it, as well as the rest of the people. It isn't right for him/her to call me a WANKER. I mean, of course friends say it to each other, but a teacher to a student? COME ON! I was only bloody studying for my exams. Exams are more important than FUCKING drama rehearsals. Drama rehearsals can't get me anywhere. Exams do. They give me chances to go to UK. Babi la! No seriously, it isn't right for s/he to call me that. Sh/e gave one senior a whole week off to study, but not me. And then, when I skip to study, s/he's pissed off? WHAT THE FUCK?
Well, he said s/he's probably looking for a placement to take my role. Well then, please do.
I DON'T FUCKING CARE. Period. I'm better off not seeing him/her anymore. And why should I apologise? It should be him/her not me.
Now, I hold a GRUDGE against him/her. I don't even know if I should go to the rehearsals anymore.
Anyways, anyone reading this and knows who s/he is, tell that TOSSER, I send my regard.
Ahh... exams... exams.. exams. Surely, some of you hate them. I do as well... but hey, it's for the greater good. It's to see if we actually improve in our studies.
Since, I won't be taking any AS this May/June, I have 7 papers excluding IELTs to sit for this sem exam: 3 papers for Chemistry, 3 papers for Biology and 1 paper for Computing. So, it's been a really busy week for me. At least a paper everyday.
My first paper was Biology paper3, which is practical. It was on Tuesday 28th April. It was actually ok. Luckily, it was a past paper that I looked through 20 minutes before! Wow! I did a few stupid mistakes though. One instance is that I forgot to add Benedict's solution to the solution I prepared. I realised after 3 minutes of heating them lol! But nevermind.
On the same day, I had Chemistry P1 and P2. Damn... it was hard. At least P1 we could gamble. We could choose from 4 possible answers, but P2 was worse. Shit, I can't even believe it. I left many questions out and many were answered unproperly, or should I say not correctly. Me and my friend would say, "Chemistry memang gemFUCK."
The following day I had Computing. It was decent. I just couldn't answer 2 out 8 questions properly. Each questions had several part like a, b, c. But I managed to answer them, not caring if was writing the right thing. There were some candidates that didn't realise there was question 8 at the back page. I pity them, since it carried 15 marks and the total marks for the paper was 60. So, there goes 25%. Oh well, let this be a lesson. A lesson to check every page, one by one. And not missing even one.
On Thursday, I had to sit 2 papers: Biology P1 and P2. P1 was frustrating. I actually did a past paper during one of my classes and it was mostly the same. The thing is, I didn't check the mark scheme. How stupid of me. ARGHH! I ended up writing swear words on my paper and how stupid I am, but at the end, I rubbed it out. P2 was better. That's what I thougth. It's because most of the questions that were included were already done in the Bio class.
So there's two papers left, as I mentioned in my previous post. It's Chem P3 and IELTs.
Good luck to all my fellow friends and college mates, who are doing the semester exams and/or AS exams and also to the seniors, who are doing A2 exams.
Ah, I'm finally back home. It's been 3 weeks. These past few weeks have been really busy , including the Second Semester Exam. There's still two papers left for me: IELTs and Chemistry P3.
Since I'm back at home, I'll probably update my blog by adding a few posts... so here goes nothing...
